Panchee Advisory is Hiring an Accountant (Part-time) Near Armonk, NY

Accountant (Part-time)

Panchee Advisory LLC, a 100% woman-owned boutique financial advisory firm, is seeking an accountant with For Profit and Foundation experience for a part-time hybrid independent contractor position. The qualified candidate will be required to work one day per week in our Armonk office.

The company’s mission is to provide superior support solutions to its clientele, in the form of investor relations, operations, marketing, and administrative support, allowing fund principals to focus on investment selection and value creation.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage and maintain general ledger and financial records
  • Track and monitor capital balances and grants
  • Prepare and review monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and income and cash flow statements
  • Reconcile bank statements and other accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
  • Provide financial analysis and reporting as required
  • Ensure compliance with Foundation tax requirements and guidelines, accounting principles and standards, as well as state and federal regulations
  • General bookkeeping, including accounts payable/receivable and expense tracking

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
  • 4 years of experience in accounting with at least 2 years of accounting experience with Foundations
  • Knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles and practices
  • Knowledge of Foundation tax requirements and guidelines
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and track record of accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $35.00 - $42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
